I heard a Prophet say at one time that there will be certain events that will occur before the rapture. Are they right? Time will only tell the truthBut, it would be fun to copy these events down and mark them off when they do occur.
1. Golf war and the war in Iraq Jeremiah 51:46 ...rumor shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumor, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.
2. The fall of Saddom Jeremiah 50:31,32 Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord God of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee. And the most proudshall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.
3. The U.S. pulling out of the Iraq. Jeremiah 51:9 We would have healed Babylon (Iraq) but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for judgment reacheth unto heavenand is lifted up even to the skies.
4. Destruction of Damascus the Capital of Syria Isaiah 17 1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
5. Russia coming down to attack Israel, with Iran, Ethiopia, and Libya behind them. Ezekiel chapter 38 & 39(tells the story of WW III )
6. God protects Israel in WWIII Ezekiel chapter 38 & 39:(tells how God protects Israel)
7. The Great out pouring of the Holy Spirit, (Miracle, signs, and wonders) Acts 2: 17,18 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:........
8. The Rapture of the Church. I Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord

Ezekiel 38 & 39
Ezek 38:1-40
38:1 AND THE word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 Son of man, set your face against Gog, (name of an evil Spirit) of the land of Magog, (SE of Russia) the prince of Rosh, of Meshech, (name for Moscow) and of Tubal, (is in Russia) and prophesy against him,
-----Noah’s grandson’s Gen 10:2----
3 And say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince (ruler) of Rosh, of Meshech, and of Tubal.
4 And I will turn you back and put hooks into your jaws,
---------The destruction of Damascas will be the hooks into thy jaws---------------------------------------------------------
Isa 17:1-4
17:1 THE MOURNFUL, inspired prediction (a burden to be lifted up) concerning Damascus [capital of Syria, and Israel's bulwark against Assyria]. Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins.
2 The cities of Aroer [east of the Jordan] are forsaken; they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
3 His bulwark [Syria] and the fortress shall disappear from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus; and the remnant of Syria will be like the [departed] glory of the children of Israel [her ally], says the Lord of hosts.
4 And in that day the former glory of Jacob [Israel — his might, his population, his prosperity] shall be enfeebled, and the fat of his flesh shall become lean.
---------Isa. 17:12-14 connects with Ez. 38:12------------
Isa 17:12-14
12 Hark, the uproar of a multitude of peoples! They roar and thunder like the noise of the seas! Ah, the roar of nations! They roar like the roaring of rushing and mighty waters!
13 The nations will rush and roar like the rushing and roaring of many waters — but [God] will rebuke them, and they will flee far off and will be chased like chaff on the mountains before the wind, and like rolling thistledown or whirling dust of the stubble before the storm.
14 At evening time, behold, terror! And before the morning, they [the terrorizing Assyrians] are not. This is the portion of those who spoil us [the Jews] of what belongs to us, and the lot of those who rob us. [Fulfilled in Isa 37:36.]
Ezek 38:12
12 To take spoil and prey, to turn your hand upon the desolate places now inhabited and assail the people gathered out of the nations, who have obtained livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth [Palestine].
AMP
---continue with vs. 4---
and I will bring you forth and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords —
5 Persia,(Iran) Cush, (Ethiopia) and Put or Libya with them, all of them with shield and helmet,
6 Gomer (Soviet Union) and all his hordes, the house of Togarmah (Turkey) in the uttermost parts of the north and all his hordes — many people are with you. (E. Germany, Poland, Hungary & Czechodkvkia)
7 You [Gog] be prepared; yes, prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you, and you be a guard and a commander for them.
8 After many days you shall be visited and mustered [for service]; in the latter years you shall go against the land that is restored from the ravages of the sword, where people are gathered out of many nations upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste; but its [people] are brought forth out of the nations and they shall dwell securely, all of them. [Isa 24:22.]
9 You shall ascend and come like a storm; you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you and all your hosts and many people with you. (air attack)
10 Thus says the Lord God: At the same time thoughts shall come into your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.
11 And you will say, I will go up against an open country [the land of unwalled villages]; I will fall upon those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take spoil and prey, to turn your hand upon the desolate places now inhabited and assail the people gathered out of the nations, who have obtained livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth [Palestine].
13 Sheba and Dedan (Saudi Arabia, comes from the line of Ham. Gen. 10:7) and the merchants of Tarshish,(Line of Japheth, they settle North of Isarel, Europe, France, England, Spain, Portugal & Italy) (with all their lion like cubs [or satellite areas) (which means, cymbal of the British Empire---United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, & S. Africa) shall say to you, Have you come to take spoil? Have you gathered your hosts to take the prey? To carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take a great spoil?
----We will be having conferences trying to decide what to do concerning the destruction of Damascus-----------
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord God: In that day when My people Israel dwell securely, will you not know it and be aroused?
15 And you will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, (Moscow) you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army.
16 And you shall come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. In the latter days I will bring you against My land, that the nations may know, understand, and realize Me when My holiness shall be vindicated through you [vindicated and honored in your overwhelming destruction], O Gog, before their eyes. (This war will be shown on TV all over the world.)
17 Thus says the Lord God: Are you he of whom I have spoken in olden times by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for years that I would bring you [Gog] against them? (This is what the News people will be saying)
18 But in that day when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, says the Lord God, My wrath shall come up into My nostrils.
19 For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath have I said, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking or cosmic catastrophe(earthquake)in the land of Israel,
(This will take place in the valley of Armageddon, but this is not the battle of Armageddon. Scholars disagree about exact location. It is possible the valley between Mt. Carmel & the city of Jezreel.
20 So that the fishes of the sea and the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall tremble and shake at My presence; and the mountains shall be thrown down and the steep places shall fall and every wall [natural or artificial] shall fall to the ground.
21 And I will call for a sword against [Gog] throughout all My mountains, says the Lord God, every man's sword shall be against his brother [over the dividing of booty].
22 And with pestilence (contagious diseases of epidemic proportions) and with blood shed (hemorrhaging) will I enter into judgment with [Gog], and I will rain upon him and upon his hordes and upon the many peoples that are with him torrents of rain and great hailstones, (Precipitation in the form of pellets of ice) fire and brimstone. (A bright yellow mineral found near active volcanoes. Large deposits of this substance are found in the dead sea region. Highly combustible, it burns with a very disagreeable odor)[Ps 11:6.]
----Gen 19:24---Brimstone was considered an agent of God’s judgment-----------------
23 Thus will I demonstrate My greatness and My holiness, and I will be recognized, understood, and known in the eyes of many nations; yes, they shall know that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service]. (This war will be shown on TV all over the world.)
Ezekiel 39
39:1 AND YOU, son of man, prophesy against Gog, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince (ruler) of Rosh, of Meshech, and of Tubal.
2 And I will turn you about and will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north and will lead you against the mountains of Israel;
3 And I will smite your bow from your left hand and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.
4 You shall fall [dead] upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your hosts and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 You shall fall in the open field, for I have spoken [it], says the Lord God.
6 I will send fire on Magog and upon those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service].
(Those countries that has turned their back on God—even if they are in Cuba-----)
7 And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name any more; and the nations shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
8 Behold, it is coming and it will be done, says the Lord God; that is the day of which I have spoken.
9 And [when you, Gog, are no longer] they who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and shall set on fire and burn the battle gear, the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the handspikes or riding whips and the spears; and they shall burn them as fuel for seven years,
10 So that My people shall take no firewood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they shall make their fires of the weapons. And they shall despoil those who despoiled them and plunder those who plundered them, says the Lord God.
11 And in that day, I will give to Gog a place for burial there in Israel, the valley of those who pass through on the east side in front of the [Dead] Sea [the highway between Syria, Petra, and Egypt], and it will delay and stop those who pass through. And there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude, and they shall call it the Valley of Hamon-gog [multitude of Gog].
12 For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, that they may cleanse the land.
13 Yes, all the people of the land will bury them, and it shall bring them renown in the day that I shall be glorified, says the Lord God.
14 And they shall set apart men to work continually who shall pass through the land, men commissioned to bury, with the help of those who are passing by, those bodies that lie unburied on the face of the ground, in order to cleanse the land. After the end of seven months they shall make their search.
15 And when these pass through the land and anyone sees a human bone, he shall set up a marker by it as a sign to the buriers, until they have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog or of Gog's multitude.
16 And Hamonah [multitude] shall also be the name of the city [of the dead]. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
17 And you, son of man, thus says the Lord God: Say to the birds of prey of every sort and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves and come, gather from every side to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, even a great sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel at which you may eat flesh and drink blood.
18 You shall eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, of goats, and of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan [east of the Jordan].
19 And you shall eat fat till you are filled and drink blood till you are drunk at the sacrificial feast which I am preparing for you.
20 And you shall be filled at My table with horses and riders, with mighty men, and with soldiers of every kind, says the Lord God.
21 And I will manifest My honor and glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see My judgment and justice [in the punishment] which I have executed and My hand which I have laid on them. (This war will be shown on TV all over the world.)
22 So the house of Israel shall know, understand, and realize beyond all question that I am the Lord their God from that day forward.
23 And the nations shall know, understand, and realize positively that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they trespassed against Me; and I hid My face from them. So I gave them into the hand of their enemies and they all fell [into captivity or were slain] by the power of the sword. [Deut 31:17.]
24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I dealt with them and hid My face from them.
25 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now will I reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel and will be jealous for My holy name.
26 They shall forget their shame and self-reproach and all their treachery and unfaithfulness in which they have transgressed against Me, when they dwell securely in their land and there is none who makes them afraid.
27 When I have brought them again from the peoples and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and My justice and holiness are set apart and vindicated through them in the sight of many nations,
28 Then shall they know, understand, and realize positively that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into captivity and exile among the nations and then gathered them to their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations any more [in the latter days].
29 Neither will I hide My face any more then from them, when I have poured out My Spirit upon the house of Israel, says the Lord God.

Your Offense is not a Good Defense
Your Offense is not a Good Defense
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, 5 it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
People seem to be demanding respect and mercy but refused to do the same for others. Also, they are more focus on themselves then needs of others.
Let me ask you something. Do you act like the world and get offended and seek revenge by gossiping for example? Its time for Christians to grow up and start separating themselves from the world. I’m not talking about moving away to a remote area. What I am talking about is walking in Love. If you are going to grow up Spiritually your going to have to do more than read the Bible once in awhile and go to Church on Sunday. And, pray to God only before meals. I’m not trying to offend any one, but it’s time to get out of our warm, comfortable Christian rut.
Rev 3:15-16
15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
It is a shame to say that a lot of Christians are warm and comfortable with the way they are. They use the excuse ‘No one is perfect’but Jesus wants all of us to continue learning and growing in His Word.
Eph 4:13-16
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
I believe that the first step in growing up Spiritually is learning how to walk in love.
Matt 5:43-48
43 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
When I decided to make a commitment to walk in love no matter what, it seemed as If everyone was out to get me. It was a nightmare but I was wide-awake. I thought that there was no way I could carry out Matt. 5:43-48. No stinken way! But I knew down in my heart that Jesus wouldn’t tell us to do something that we would not be able to do. So, after I battled that in my mind for awhile I finally gave in. I asked Jesus to please help me walk in love. Because, I had such a hot temper. I knew I could not walk in love on my own strength.
I worked at a maintenance base that worked on airplanes. I cleaned the airplanes while the mechanics worked on them. There were several docks in which the planes are parked. And, I had worked on one certain dock for about a year. I got to know some of the mechanics. This one mechanic for instances would always ask me if I were going to do anything that day. And I would joke back and say something like I don’t know we are going to have to wait and see.
Then, one morning I asked him, "Are you going to do anything today?" He got so mad at me and practically cussed me out (he couldn’t use cuss words because you could get fired for that) and told me what was what then he looks at his buddy’s with a smirk and said, "I told her."
You could hear a pin drop on that plane. The other mechanics was looking at me wonder what I was going to say or do next.
These entire mechanics knew that I was a Christian. Because I would carry a small radio around with me and listen to all of the preaching on the radio. Which drove them up a wall. They would have their radios on blaring threw out the cabin and sometimes I had to hold my radio up to my ear in order to hear it.
And, what’s so funny that during one of our short brakes I would go in the back of the airplane to listen to my radio because the mechanics would be up front. Then, the next thing I know the mechanics that was up front moved in the back by me. So, I would get up and move up front to keep from disturbing them because they made it plain and clear how much they couldn’t stand to listen to all of that preaching. Then, once again between preachers I would look up and those mechanics was sitting around me again.
Anyway, after that guy told me off. The Lord brought to my remembrance Matthew 5:43-48. I looked at him and said, "You must be having a bad day let me buy you a coke." Then I took 50 cents out of my pocket. He grabbed that money as if he didn’t have a dime to his name. Then he ran off the airplane as fast as he could.
I didn’t see him again until after lunch. He came up to me and was as sweet as pie. He didn’t apologize for the way he acted but his actions toward me was enough. He was just falling all over himself to be nice to me. Then he told me that he had received a ‘Word of Faith’ magazine and he found it very interesting.
Can you imagine how things would have turned out if I hadn’t walk in love toward this man? He might had gone home and throw the "Word of Faith" in the trash and not think another thing about it since a "Christian woman acted just like every one else" and the other mechanics would of thought of me as nothing but another hypocrite that was just playing church.
I hear people talk that way all the time when they see or hear someone that claims to be a Christian and acts like the world.
I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be any ones excuse for not accepting Christ as their Savior.
If you mess up by saying or doing something you know you shouldn’t had said or did. Then you need to apologize to the people that heard you or saw you. Don’t walk around as if you didn’t do anything wrong. You might have asked Jesus to forgive you and He will. But you also need to apologize to the people that were offended by your actions. You might think that they had given you just reasons to act so crazy.
Step down from your pride, and apologize. You will be glad that you did. Jesus way is the best way. *Remember that you are responsible for your own action.

EVERYTHING!
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

The world’s point of view of love makes you think that love is a feeling, but it isn’t Love, is a decision. Your feelings can change with the wind.
When you make a commitment to love people no matter what, it seams like every time you turn around someone does something that really gets your goat. Makes you madder than all get out! It seams people just go plum crazy!
It’s worse when it is your child (adult child) that acts like he just lost his mind. Every logic and common sense just went out the door. I tell ya what happen. I sent my 18-yr. old son to Pittsburgh, PA, in the U.S. army, station in Fort Hood, TX. His grandmother died and he wanted to go to the funeral. He really didn’t know her that well, but he wanted to be there for his father. I work for American Airlines, which helped. And got him a flight to Pennsylvania. He got there on a Monday, and the funeral was on a Tuesday, so he was supposed to fly back on a Wednesday. Sounded good anyway. Come Wednesday I called and had someone check to make sure he got on the flight to come back to Oklahoma. Because if he wasn’t able to get to his flight in DFW than I was going to call my nephew, which lives in Dallas and have him pick him up or take him around until he could get on the next flight. So, they checked for me and my son didn’t get on the plane in DFW, not only that he didn’t get on the plane in Pittsburgh. His flight left out of there at 12:33 in the afternoon and here it was 5:15p.m. He didn’t call or anything. I became concern, I thought something might have happen to him. So, I look up his dad’s phone number to find out what happen. My son’s little sister answered the phone and I ask if my son (Don) was there. She said, "yes" so I ask her if I could talk to him, then she set the phone down and went to go get him. When he came to the phone I asked him why he didn’t get on the plane this morning? He said, "Oh, I forgot." I said, "You forgot! How in world did you forget?" He said, "Oh, huh I got to busy playing with my little sister and I wanted to stay here longer."
I don’t know about you but the words ‘I forgot’ sounded like a lie after he said he wanted to say here longer. It sound liked to me he forgot on purpose. I was mad. I told him that I didn’t believe that he forgot, and that was very inconsiderate of him to leave me hanging like that without even calling to let me know that he didn’t get on the plane. My son is a Christian but he is still in that baby stage. I know one day he will grow up and be a mighty man of valor for Christ. Until then I guess that is where the Word says Love is patients, and he sure is trying mine. So, I asked him when he wanted to come back, and he told me Friday. So, I call my work and got everything changed to Friday. I called him back and gave him the flight number and time which was the same time before but on a different day. Thursday came, and I got a phone call about 9:00p.m. (Which was my bedtime since I had to get up at 4:00a.m.) It was Don. I knew I should have asked God to help me walk in love before I picked that phone up because he told me that Friday wasn’t going to be a good time for him to leave on the plane he told me Saturday was when he wanted to leave. I asked him why? Because he was put on a special flight to get him there and back in the first place since his grandmother died. He started telling me all these excuses why his dad wasn’t able to take him to the airport or any one else in their whole family. Since his sister had to go to the airport anyway on Saturday then he could catch a ride with her.
I blew up! And not just because of this scenario but every time I sent my boys up there and when it came time for them to come home their dad always comes up with excuses for not taking them to the airport. I always had to call my work and change their flight time and day.
I had to repent. I blew it with my love walk that time. Thank God for I John 1:9!
Before, Don finally made it back to Oklahoma I had to ask God to help me walk in love towards him. I didn’t want to recap what happen over the phone to happen at the airport when I pick him up.
I told myself, ’I’m a peacemaker and I made a commitment to walk in love towards everyone. Yes, I blew it on the phone but I asked for forgiveness from my heart. I know that God’s Word is True, 1 John 1: 9
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
NIV
When you mess up like I did on the phone with my son, you ask for forgiveness and God will forgive. Then stand up, dust yourself off, and keep going, keep trying.
Walking in love isn’t always easy. Just because you mess up doesn’t mean you have the right to give up. Living God way is always better than your own way. I don’t know about you but every time I do it my way it always ends up worst then if I did it God’s way.
EVERYTHING!

Talk or not to Talk
To Talk or Not to Talk
Mark 6:2
When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed.
Jesus is a remarkable speaker. People would gather around just to hear Him speak. Wow, that wasn’t the case for me. I was the world’s worst talker.
Before I became a Christian, I was a hot tempered, self-center, spoiled rotten brat. I made up my mind when I was five years old that I was only going to talk to people that I liked. I did not like that many people. I had three older sisters that talked, and talked and talked. So, when a stranger came along I would just let my sisters do all the talking and I would just stand there and listen and smile. Every once in a while they would look at me to see if I had anything to say on the subject but I would just look at them and smile because I haven’t made up my mind if I liked them or not.
I tell you what I was the type of kid you just wanted to slap up side the head. I thought my dad was going to one day. He took all of us out to eat. He liked to do that sometimes on a Sunday and take us to a movie, which of course the movie was, either James Bond or the Planet of the Apes. Once, we get to the restaurant we would all pile into a booth. I always sat next to my mother she was like my guardian angel. I had decided at a young age that I didn’t like my dad so I didn’t talk to him. So, he would always start with my oldest sister and ask her what she wanted to order. Than he would proceed to my 2nd sister than to my 3rd sister. Then it was my turn; my 2nd and 3rd sisters would start giggling and pointing at me because they knew I wasn’t going to answer my dad. So, He would ask me what I wanted to order. And, I would just sit there staring at him. He would get so mad especially after he would have to ask me for the third time. Then, the waitress tries to help and she would ask me what I wanted to order, but I still wouldn’t answer because I didn’t know her and I hadn’t decided if I liked her or not. So, after my dad was ready to blow his top I would just look up at my mom and smile than she would order for me.
I held on to that decision for 24 years. Not to talk to anyone I didn’t like no matter who they were. Because of that decision I did not develop very well in the communication department. By the time I became a Christian I had ran off all my friends not just because of the lack of communication either. I was not a nice person. My family tolerated me because they loved me.
After I accepted Christ as my Savior, God put love in my heart for people. Which, I needed desperately because for a long while I hated people. I felt that people only brought me pain and I didn’t need any more of that. So, I would try to just isolate myself away from them. Except, from work but I didn’t have much of a chose there. I use to smoke cigarettes and at night after I put my kids to bed I would say over and over that my best and only friend was my cigarette. Than I would take another drag off of it.
But, when I accepted Christ as my Savior I wanted to tell people about Jesus. And, I knew that I needed to learn how to communicate with people. So, I would watch and listen to my sisters. After, observing them I realize that I needed a beginning and a middle subject than a closer. While watching TV I saw a man looking at his watch, tap it twice and said, "Got to go". I thought now that was an excellent ending. So, I took that ending as my own. Then, I decided to open with ‘Hi, How are you doing?" next my subject would of coarse be about the weather than my closer was looking at my watch tapping it twice than say ‘ Got to go’. I was so excited!
So, off to Wal-Mart I flew to find someone to practice on. Then, I thought I had a brilliant ideal. Since, I didn’t have much of a personality
I thought that it would be so much better to try to imitate my older sister. Because, when she spoke to people they would just warm up to her. When I talk to people they would treat me like a far, far distant acquaintance. Probably because that is how I had treated them for a long time. My oldest sister personality is kind of loud and very verbal, so that was how I was going to act.
When I got to Wal-Mart I went straight to the lady’s clothing. Waiting and watching for my first victim. Finally she showed up. So, I went over and started my act. She looked at me as if I had finally lost my mind. I wanted to run as fast as I could away from there. I felt like a fool but I wasn’t going to give up. I went home and thought about it over and over again. I couldn’t figure out why that lady didn’t warm up to me like they do with my sister. I did and said everything that I had heard her say and do.
After, I had finally stopped whining I asked God what to do. He told me that I have to listen to what the person is saying but also not only listen but also care about what they are saying and respond from my heart. I thought dear Lord I know that I could listen and probably respond from my heart but care about what they are saying. I had to explain to God that some people are so boring they just go on and on and on about absolutely nothing. Drives me up a wall. But, I knew in my heart that no matter what I had to walk in Love. And, not caring or listen to the person that is talking to me is not walking in Love. I’m not saying I have to agree with everything the person is saying but care because it’s important to the other person other wise they wouldn’t be saying it.
Communication for some people it comes natural. But, for others and me it doesn’t. Then you have the people that talk way too much. Who needs to learn:
Prov 10:19
When words are many, sin is not absent,
But he who holds his tongue is wise.
We should always walk in Love towards whomever we are communicating with. So, don’t bore the other person with many words, and don’t act as if what the other person is saying not important to you. No one likes to feel rejected!

It's time to grow up
It’s Time to Grow Up!
Has anyone in your family ever told you to ‘grow up, your acting just like a little kid,’ I know I was told that more than once. My
great come back was, " Oh yea, you too!" It’s so funny how we acted when we were kids. Then, finally we do grow up, physically and maturely. We leave those kids’ ways behind us.
1 Cor 13:11
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
NIV
It isn’t easy growing up in the natural or Spiritual. It’s a process.
Spiritual: It’s up to you how quickly you grow
Natural: For your body, it’s a matter of time.
Natural maturity: It’s a matter of time & it can be up to you after you reach adult hood
God expects every believer to grow up, just like you expect your children to grow up one day. How would it make you feel if you see your 17year old son/daughter sitting on your couch hugging their baby blanket and sucking on a bottle? I know what I would think;‘when is this kid going to grow up and stop acting like a baby.’
1 Peter 2:1-3
2:1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
NIV
Eph 4:14-15
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
KJV
If you have been a Christian for awhile and still making the same mistakes (sin) as you did when you first accepted Jesus as your Savior, then something is wrong. Either your not spending time in Gods Word and in prayer or you don’t believe that you can change, so why try, right? I have heard people say, ‘I have been this way for 20 years, and I will probably be this way for the next 20 yrs.’ The problem is that people have set limitations on themselves. They just cannot believe that they can change.
Let me give you an example about limitations. This might be a strange example but it will get my point across.
Circus Elephants: Have you ever seen the elephants tied up around the ankle behind the big circus tents? Have you ever wondered how in the world those elephant just stand there with out getting loose? The stakes look like regular old tent stakes. You know common sense tells you that a big 4000 lbs. elephant could easily pull that little old stake up out of the ground. You know what? That elephant doesn’t know that. He really doesn’t. You and I can see the big picture but the elephant can’t. Ever since that elephant was a baby, the people that trained him had to drive a stake deep down into the ground and tie the baby elephant’s leg to it. Of course the baby elephant will try to get away. After time has past and the elephant gets older, he finally gives up trying to get away. So, all you have to do is drive a tent stake into the ground; put a rope around the elephant’s leg and he will not leave that spot because he believes he can not get away. The elephant puts limitations on himself.
What kind of limitations have you put on yourself?
It’s time to start growing up Spiritually and put your old ways behind you.
Remember what Jesus said to the woman that was caught in adultery after everyone drops the stone they had and walked away. John 8:11
11 "No one, sir," she said.
"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
NIV
Jesus doesn’t want you to continue in your sin. He wants you to leave your old ways, and grow up spiritually. If you weren’t able to do that, then He would have told that lady ‘don’t worry if you continue in your sin I will have mercy on you,’ but, He didn’t say that.
There are several reasons why you need to grow up Spiritually, but I’m going to give you just one for now.
Babies can’t talk or walk. In the natural or Spiritual. Natural babies are totally depending on others. Spiritual babies have to depend on others to fight all of their Spiritual battles for them. You need to learn to stand on God’s Word for yourself. I’m not saying you shouldn’t have people praying for you, but there are times that you need to pray for yourself and for others. God wants you to grow up. Just like you want to see your own children grow up. It’s up to you.

What Happen to the dinosaurs?

Have you ever wonder what really happen to the dinosaurs? Or how old earth really is? The best place to look is Gods Word.
Gen 1:1-2
1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
NIV
#BEGIN_BOOK_COMMENTARY:
You know that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And, you know that everything God creates is GOOD.
He is not going to create something, than step back and say, ‘Hmm, let me see, I guess there needs some improvement on the waters, they look a little lurky, and I guess I could straighten something’s out because it is in a bit of a confusion.
No, When God creates it is always GOOD
Now, let’s take another look at verse 2.
Gen 1:2
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
KJV
The word was, in the Hebrew means become
The word without form in the Hebrew is tohuw (to’-hoo) which means confusion, empty place, without form, waste, wilderness.
The word and void in the Hebrew is bohuw (bo’-hoo) which means emptiness, void
Let’s read verse 2 again. And the earth became tohuw (confusion, empty place, without form, waste, wilderness. And bohuw (emptiness, void)
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
I like the way the New Living Bible translates this verse.
Gen 1:2
2 the earth was a shapeless, chaotic mass, with the Spirit of God brooding over the dark vapors.
TLB
Does that sound like something God would create?
Isa 45:18
18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
KJV
God created the earth not in vain.
The word in vain, in the Hebrew is tohuw (to’-hoo). The same word that was in Gen. 1:2, which means confusion, empty place, without form, waste, wilderness.
So, in Isa 45:18, tells us that God did not create the earth tohuw, He formed it to be inhabited.
How many years are between Gen. 1:1 and Gen. 1:2? We do not know.
I heard Billye Brim say it like this, "As long as scientist needs it to be."
Which is true.
So what happen?
Jer 4:23-28
23 I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone. 24 I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying. 25 I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away. 26 I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the LORD, before his fierce anger.
27 This is what the LORD says:
"The whole land will be ruined, though I will not destroy it completely. 28 Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back."
NIV
This is how the dinosaurs died. Remember God is Light, He got really mad and took Himself away from the earth. And the Earth became tohuw bohuw.
Scientist finally agrees today, that the dinosaurs died all at once. Also, the DNA that was taken from a dinosaur bone doesn’t match any of today’s.
Why was God so mad? You will find it in Isa. 14:12-15
I believe it is good to have, ‘Before the Foundation of the Earth Faith.’
Scientist believes that the Bible was not true, because Christians always for awhile claim that the earth was only 6 thousand years old. And, they had physical proof that the earth was a lot older.
I hope this short study will encourage you to dig deep into Gods Word for answers. Because everything you need to know is in The Bible
